Musical rejuvenation workshops for the elderly in East London

The Smiling Sessions are a trio of professional musicians - guitarist Pete Baikie, singer and violinist Alison Jones and of course, banjo player Dick Smith - who bring joy and musical inspiration to the elderly through weekly musical workshops at residential care homes. By encouraging older people to play instruments and take part in singalongs, The Smiling Sessions offer the opportunity and the inspiration for residents to recapture their musical youth and unleash their musical talents.
